Les Manwaring
Les developed an interest in gardening when he retired. Since then he has been involved in numerous Horticultural Societies.
For many years he has been an exhibitor and judge at local and national shows.
Les is privileged to be Chairman of this thriving gardening club.
Rose Heesom
Rose loves spending as much time outside in the garden as possible. She has always loved flowers and plants, but has only recently started growing vegetables and loves seeing the results.
Rose joined the garden club in April 2018 and has learned a great deal from some of our speakers and other members.
She became Membership Secretary in 2018 and instigated our first Scarecrow Festival in 2022.
She loves to travel, hates housework and loves meeting people.

Ron Heesom
Ron is a keen gardener, mainly doing the “digging” and planting {not allowed to play with secateurs}; as well as tending the veg patch.
He stepped in to help out as treasurer in 2017, and has continued in this role ever since.
Holly Baker
Holly is a very keen gardener, spending most of her time in the garden when not travelling. or being generally idle.
She loathes cleaning and practices her Spanish constantly.
Holly is very approachable, despite how stern she appears!
